DISCOVERY ROCK

Discovery Rock is a fun learning experience for kids. Discover the magic of geology while panning for gemstones in the running water of the mining sluice box. Little ones can search for treasures or just play in our fossil dig sandbox.










DEMON THE BULL

Ride Demon, the Adventure Park's mechanical bull, for a taste of the old West! With rides from mild to wild, riders of all ages can pick the intensity level that suits them best.









FORT WHEREAMI MAZE

New this year! Ready, set, go! Kids will love finding their way through the labyrinth of twists and turns in this fort-style maze. They'll race against the clock and each other for fun and prizes.






WILD WEST WAGON


Open weather permitting *
Wagons ho! Climb aboard our new Wild West Adventure Wagon and travel back in time to the days when cowboys and Conestoga wagons roamed the mountains. You'll feel the wagon bouncing on the bumpy trail and the wind rushing by as the narrator describes your journey. You might even duck when you hear bandits approaching! This simulated wagon experience lasts about five minutes and is suitable for all ages

We have costumes to fit all shapes and sizes, from newborns on up, plus all the props and backdrops you need to create the perfect souvenir. Prices start at $22.








HORSEBACK RIDING

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park has teamed up with Capitol Peak Outfitters to offer horseback riding on Iron Mountain . Experienced guides lead one-hour trail rides on gentle, well-trained horses. Riders enjoy incredible views of Glenwood Canyon, Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork valley as they wind through the trees. Capitol Peak Outfitters is locally owned and operated by Colorado natives John and Heather Howe, who have been in the outfitting business for more than 12 years. Their horses are experienced on mountain trails, and are suitable for beginning riders. A Release of Liability must be signed prior to horseback riding. To save yourself time, please download, print and bring this waiver with you. Please note one waiver per person is required.
