ALREADY GONE TAKES THE STAGE AT GLENWOOD CAVERNS ADVENTURE PARK MUSIC ON THE MOUNTAIN "CANS-FOR-A-TRAM" CONCERT ON SAT., SEPT. 15
Guests can enjoy live music, drink specials and a free tram or bus ride in exchange for a canned food donation to benefit the LIFT-UP food pantry. The "cans-for-a-tram" rides will begin at 4 p.m., and the band will perform from 6 - 10 p.m.
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (Sept. 11, 2012)
The Music on the Mountain benefit concert series continues at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park with Already Gone on Sat., Sept. 15. Guests will be able to enjoy live music and a free tram or bus ride in exchange for a canned food donation to benefit the LIFT-UP food pantry during the event. The "cans-for-a-tram" rides will begin at 4 p.m., and the band will perform from 6 - 10 p.m.
Already Gone is one of the region's most popular cover bands, featuring music genres such as classic rock, rhythm and blues, new country, top 40, funk, blues, and rock 'n roll. The band is comprised of Lisa Popish, Randy De Herrerra, Mark Chenowith, Eddie Muniz and Gean Graca. This week's concert is sponsored by Bighorn Toyota. The local Toyota dealership has been in business 35 years and has been the recipient of Toyota President's Award eight of the past 10 years and the winner of multiple Post Independent Locals' Choice awards.
A Day Pass, just $30 with the free tram ride during the event, will include unlimited access to the park's newest attractions: the Cliffhanger Roller Coaster, the Mine Wheel and the Wild West Express Coaster, as well as the Alpine Coaster, Giant Canyon Swing, Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, Fort WhereAmI Maze, 4D Motion Theater, Laser Tag arena, Speleobox cave simulator, Climbing Wall and Giddy Up! Western ride. The outdoor attractions will be open until dusk; the Laser Tag arena and 4D Motion Theater will be open until 10 p.m.
The Lookout Grille and Snack Shack will be open for dinner and refreshments; drink specials including $3 Coors Lights, Coronas and glasses of wine, and $4 well drinks, will be available in the plaza.
