The Alpine Coaster is a south-facing ride so daytime hours make the most of sunny winter weather and stunning views of the Roaring Fork Valley. After dark, the ride offers added thrills with stars overhead illuminating the heavens and twinkle lights lighting up the track below.

Cave Deep Dive
You might be surprised to learn that in winter the caves at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park can be warmer than the outside temperature. If the thermometer is hovering around the freezing mark, take a deep dive underground where the ambient temperature is a steady and comfortable 52˚F. Not only will you warm up, but the sheer beauty of the caves will knock your socks off. Both cave tours are included with your Funday ticket. The King’s Row tour showcases stunning cave formations and requires visitors to walk up and down a number of stairs. The Fairy Caves are gorgeous, with historical artifacts, a gazing pool and an overlook of Glenwood Canyon. Choose this tour if you’d rather not negotiate steps.
