During the winter holiday season, the Glenwood Caverns transforms into a true winter wonderland, with the festive “Winter on the Mountain” celebration. Children and adults alike, enjoy the twinkling lights, seasonal decor, and delicious s’mores treats that can be roasted at our plaza fire pits. Our musical Christmas Tree will come alive throughout the evening, adding even more excitement and magic to the evening.
No holiday season would be complete without a visit with Santa. He’ll be here in our rock shop, ready to talk with all the kiddos as they share their Christmas gift ideas with him. This year, he’ll be joined by the one and only Grinch who hopes to spread a bit of mischief into the night as well.
We invite you to gather together, soak up the enchanting ambiance, and make lasting memories while enjoying the captivating natural beauty of the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.

Winter on the Mountain Kickoff Party!
November 23, 2024 – 4pm to 8pm
Enjoy a cozy gondola ride to the winter wonderland and join us to kick off Winter on top of the mountain. You’ll be greeted by the warm, twinkling lights and festive decorations including our musical Christmas tree and Santa’s workshop. Grab a warm holiday drink and roast marshmallows for a delicious smore. It’s a truly magical holiday experience that create lasting memories for the whole family.
