Spring Break: Time to Let Loose!

Got cabin fever? Get going to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park for spring break thrills! The mountaintop theme park is open every day beginning Friday, March 12!

Winter snows are receding, the days are getting warmer and after being cooped up in the house or office for the better part of a year, spring break in Colorado is the perfect excuse to get out and have a whole lot of fun at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.

We are Going Up, Up, Up!

Gearing up, staffing up and opening up as the days get longer and warmer. Starting Friday, March 12, the Adventure Park will be open every day of the week. Hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mood Altering Rides

If the weather cooperated, the Giant Canyon Swing will open for spring breakOur rides will make you smile, laugh, giggle and shout! Who doesn’t want a dose of that right now? If it’s been a while since you felt the wind in your hair, climb aboard the Alpine Coaster and race down the mountain; we’ll tow you back up! Even though riders know they’re about to drop like a rock into a 110-foot deep, dark mine shaft, the rush of freefalling never gets old. The Soaring Eagle Zip Ride (opening is weather dependent) lets you fly above it all.  The scariest ride of all is the Giant Canyon Swing (opening is also weather dependent). It will take you to the brink and back!

Change of Scenery

Spring break is all about getting a change of scenery. Escaping the ordinary is easy when you go on one of Glenwood Caverns’ cave tours. On its own the underground world is spectacular, but extraordinary lighting helps show off the nuances and the delicacy of cave formations. The King’s Row tour dives down deep, culminating with “views” you won’t find anywhere else. In every sense, the Historic Fairy Caves tour is a trip through the past.

Food, Fun & Games

New selections at the Lookout Grille come just in time for spring breakBurn off energy in the Laser Tag Arena. Parents be warned, you may have the jump on youngsters when it comes to height, but kids have a stealthy knack for winning this game. For a good laugh, don’t underestimate silliness. Our 4-D Motion Theater, with four different animated movies, will make you wonder what’s real and what’s not. Afterward, refuel at the Lookout Grille where there are yummy new options for both kids and adults including cowboy burgers, thin-crust pizzas, chicken nachos and more!

Deal of the Day

For the best value admission, we recommend purchasing the Unlimited Alpine Coaster Pass. With it, you’ll be able to ride the Glenwood Gondola to the park entrance, enjoy all the rides and attractions that are available, and go on both cave tours.

Let loose! Spring Break has arrived at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park!
